A friend of mine suggested Raw Honey works great for allergies. She gives her dog 2 Tablespoons of raw honey a day and she is now off all allergy meds. Her mom is also taking it and has greatly reduced the allergy meds she's taking a day.

It has to be RAW honey and it has to be produced in the area you live in. I think it's worth a shot and I'm planning on going to see the local honey guy by me.

Sumo takes Benedryl several times a day, gets a bath to reduce the yeast on his skin once a month and goes in for a cortisone shot every spring----

We have no idea what he is allergic to but it hits him early spring and quiets down in the fall.

His only symtom is itchy sores on the back half of his body--- Constant grooming this summer has helped him ALOT. I love the furminator!! His coat is shiny and slick for the first time in a long time~
