There is a trailer flipped over and there are two horses in it, The horses need Ace or Bannimine until a vet can arrive...if anyone is close please let me know I can call people at the accident and let them know how long it will take!!

Yeah that's my worse nightmare. When I just talked to my friend she said he looks ok for the moment, so I'm thinking maybe only one horse..that's even better...my friend is just in disaster recover mode so no info on who or where they are going. Knowing her (yeah Tammy the red head) she's in the trailer with the horse about to get her head kicked off.

Sending good thoughts to the people and horses, and hoping the horses stay calm while they work to get them freed!

A mutual horse person friend of ours just happened to come upon this accident, good thing too! It sure helps to have knowledgeable horse people on the scene.

I don't think you should ace a horse that's trapped in a trailer without the advice of a Vet.

I heard that Ace is ONLY used when the horse is calm and to keep it calm, otherwise the drug could actually make them more upset if given when the horse is already upset. I don't know if this is true.

A vet is not going to use ace in that situation there is much better to use.

Yea, whatever my vet uses to sedate my guys for floating...I think it's a concoction of a couple things.

Ditto NO ACE. It can be a big problem if they are bleeding or in shock.
