OK, this is a fun game. That I just made up. ::) I will post a deep dark secret or surprising tidbit from my life... then someone else jump in and post theirs. PT's thread about jury duty and not being able to handle being handcuffed and what not made me think of it.. plus the fact that I admitted to some high school naughtiness already, and Ponythief is suprised I'd drive recklessly? HA!

I have been handcuffed, sat in jail (though more a holding room) and was in a juvenile detention facility as a minor! It was "protective" custody. Ironically at the juvie facility we learned all sort of things about how to break and enter and put liquid THC on your eyeball. I drove from central Illinois to Philadelphia when I was 15. It was really my idea and my 16-year-old friends, and another 15-year-old came with us. My 16-year-old had the car but she almost drove it into the ditch on the highway less than 10 minutes away from town, so I took over the driving. The officer that dealt with us most of all was "Officer Friendly" and he was just the nicest guy, it was not scary at all. He told us he was a bad kid and his current chief was a cop that sort of was always catching him being bad and pretty much served to straighten him up as a youth. Then he grew up and became a cop himself. After that trip I was 95% a good girl, with that 5% being underaged drinking every weekend. BUT by the time I got to college, drinking was boring and all my sloppy drunk new freshman friends were embarrassing. SO that is how I came to be the fine model citizen I am today. :p

    Who's next?

I LOVED being pregnant. Surprising I only had 3 children!

Ya, sorry, I don't have good stories like bad girl Lori does.

I did put my boyfriend's (now husband) '67 ragtop, 4 on the floor Mustang in the ditch.......... :'( :'( :'( How embarrassing to have the neighbors pull us out........small town EVERYONE knows EVERYONE.......... :-[

oh oh, and once, I went "parking", alongside a barn, on a then secluded road (Morganfan's - before EVERYONE built a house out there)...........the car got stuck..........had to be pulled out of their boggy yard by a local..... :-[ :-[ :-[ did you notice that I said once! One and only!

Hah! I'll just say that, at the ripe ole age of 28, I am satisfied with going to bed at 10:30 most nights. Been there, done that (although I do not have an arrest record....luckily! :p).

Other than retaining my below-the-belt jewelry and continuing my quest for more tattoo ink, my life is pretty chill these days. I've decided to focus my energy towards training for marathons (I've decided an ultra-marathon or two is in store for the future) and showing my mare, which was once a risky and wild thing to do (seeing as she was once a risky and wild thing herself!).

I was pulled over by the police for drag racing in downtown Barrington when I was in my early 20's ;D I think they let me go because I was a girl and I beat the 2 stupid boys that challenged me!! The first thing the police officer asked me when he came to my window was "did you win?" And my response(along with a charming 20 year old smile) was "yes I did"!! Ahhhh, the good old days! :police:

This would be too long to write...so, let's just say, I was not always a model citizen. ;)

Hmm, I think the worst thing I did as a teen was steal a car. We did return it after several hours and filled the tank with gas so we weren't all that bad.

Suprisingly enough, I was an incredibly well behaved teenager and college student.
No real good stories that I can think off.
    damn.

OK, it doesn't have to be a naughty story--just Deb was surprised I played a bit in my truck to show off for HS boys and so clearly you guys don't know me all that well, so I thought the fact that I'd been handcuffed and in "jail" and a juvenile facility would be the most shocking thing I could tell everyone!

Since posts are limited to 20,000 words I don't have enough space.

    I was a baaaaaaaaaaaaaad kid.

Oh, I know of a little something that's not on the bad side but might surprise some of you ;D

I was once engaged to a Baptist minister

    I ran away from home.
I cut school several times, the beginning of class, I told the teacher I was bored and left

I "experimented" with non prescription items

    That's all for now folks.

During my days of being a Burnout, but not in the sense that I smoked and drank all the time and showed up to school high, although admit to getting high a couple times during lunch on the Out To Lunch pass I had. Took me twice to realize I hate the feeling of feeling guilty or paranoid of being kind of stoned in school, even if no in my classes knew.

Anyways, at a New Years Eve party after drinking quite a bit on an empty stomach and taking a hit, I puked on someone's jacket (who I knew) and acted like I knew nothing about it. I was pretty sober after that and felt much better :D

Got in a fist fight at a party with an ex boyfriend who threw a cup of beer in my face. A couple years later was the father of the first of our 3 kids.
Also the first time I went Out To Lunch with him and he was trying to get me to be his girlfriend, he tried to kiss me while he was driving, and I punched him in the face and made his glasses go flying.
Might have had a lot to do with him hitting on me at a party about a year prior, and as I was sitting with a bunch of people at a picnic table down in the basement, with three guys I've always really liked, he came up from behind me and kissed me on the lips! No, at the time I Did Not Know Who He Was and was tired of him bothering me.
I got told after that party he broke up with the girl he had been dating for like 5 years, to go out with me. I must have had "Virgin" written on my forehead going into the school year as a Senior.

And while partying with some friends in H.S, a few I normally didn't hang out with, at the Park Forest Forest Preserves on a bridge, took a hit of a joint that must have been laced, because in slow motion saw myself going down and who was next to me trying to catch my fall and missed. They said I looked like a fish out of water and didn't know what to do. I only remember waking up and puking over the side of the bridge and getting up feeling ok.

I think I'll stop there. I really doubt I'll be drinking more than a whole beer within a 3 hour span at our MH get together. ;D Those days are Long Gone! And haven't smoked any funky stuff since the 80's.!
At least I've never been arrested.

I had a "fling" with Tony Danza. >:D I was alot younger,,,
I miss having adventures. I went to West Africa to a private yacht to vacation with a guy I only met in person for a few hours. WE keep writing but now that I'm older I realize how totally STUPID that was-but fun!
I was engaged to a member of the Irish bike olympic team. We are still friends.
I really need to start having fun again and stop being such an "adult". I am so boring now,,,

Well, here's a good one for you.

I got into a bar fight the night of my grandmothers wake. In Nov 2008.

I was not the one arrested though as I did not start it.

Jen -- you're my husband's female doppelganger or something, who knew !

Jeez, BUC -- first the Viking love and now this relevation. Scarlet woman!

Lori -- I had a feeling you we're naughty, bet you're not telling us everything ;)

I'm kinda with Mass -- I never stole anything (except for some food, I hadn't eaten in 3 days, and I did steal some food), never did anything illicit beyond some pot (and one time some peyote -- for the spiritual thing of course), but I wasn't a model child with a model childhood.

As for my romantic life story -- I don't kiss and tell, at least not that much.

I was homeless for a greater portion of my senior year in high school (they almost wouldn't let me graduate because I had no address), at one point living out of my car on one of those field lanes -- which kind of explains the no food and stealing food thing.

I permanently scarred somebody's face up -- it was high school, sometime prior to the homelessness stint, my idiot friend picked a :slapfight: with some silly cow, and when I tried to break it up silly cow pulled a knife on me. In retrospect, probably not a good thing to do to a person with no soul ;)

I went to the Garden, and rode there -- I was a lackey, a stable ____, but I did get to ride at the Garden. I did a lot of riding of some pretty nice horses at some pretty nice places as a stable____. Of course, it still didn't take away from the fact that no matter what, I was still the lowly stable _____.

I almost got kicked out of college due to several pranks -- the head RA didn't like me; that's my defense and I'm sticking to it. The Stuffy McMuffy's got it to a vote, and were then pissed that the majority of the student government thought I was cool enough to keep around -- hahahahaha Stuffy McMuffy SYNT's!

The Communist Party tried to recruit me to write for a newspaper of theirs when I was in grad school -- they really courted my ass, which was pretty funny.

I think I've said other things before -- but these are some relatively new relevations, I think.
