Anyone going to TRADE DAYS at Amboy?

Yep, talked to Nancy about the tables and Cindy about joining the club.

I'll be there, even dragging hubby along to help carry the containers and sit while I go shop for bargains. I have a feeling hubby will attack the bake sale, he loves PIES.

I would have asked my bf to go if we didn't already have plans to go to the motorcycle show this weekend. Both of us would have enjoyed going just because there was a bake sale!

 

Snaff, I hope you're bringing more than one of those pies... Rhubarb is my ALL time favorite and I WILL fight for it! :slapfight:

I really hope to make it out there. I will have baby in tow, but he'll enjoy it!

 

Maybe we will head out that way too. It will probably be a last minute thing

I bet the hordware store - the one going out of buisness will have a booth with a lot of discounted horse stuff!!!!!

btw - the place is not all that big - for the safety of your baby - carry him!!!!

Have you HELD my 'baby'?!?!?!? I use the term baby very loosely. He's a little linebacker at 28 lbs. I can't WAIT till he can walk and support his weight on his own!
I'll just pass him around and you all can take turns with him! :th_flipoff:

 

Be careful who you pass him off to - you might not be able to get him back...........some of us with older children miss the babies......... >

 

Oh don't worry I have ran out to the store several times now and I got all the good stuff! ;D No really she has tons of stuff still, and very nice stuff...I just keep spending too much to get the good buys so but it up!!!! I should have gotten a table and got rid of some stuff... but they are sold out.

 

Well, thanks to our stupid new dog, I'm in need of a new saddle pad. I came today, to my $250+ CSI pad, in pieces all over the dining room floor. I'm not kidding when I say that Max is lucky that I didn't beat him to death. He had 6 other pads to pick from, but he chose the most expensive one, the ONLY one that I use on Jack, and chewed it in about 100 pieces. I don't even think they make these pads anymore.

Anyway, do they have stuff like that our there?

Thanks Buffy. I might just do that. I loved that pad, and thank God, they still make them, but it's gonna cost me $150 now. I guess I should be happy that they're cheaper than it was when I bought it 4 years ago.

Well, it starts at 11, so if we head out around 9:30 - 9:45, we should be alright. I think. I've never been to Amboy! lol
