I work for a corporate office in the lobby and I can't believe how lazy people are!!!

There are two elevators in this lobby and someone had spilled some ice on one of the rugs. I'm told to call someone so no one gets hurt.

Fine, I called but why can't someone just bend over and pick it up????? This really pisses me off!

I agree...people are getting more and more just plain lazy. My favorites are when someone leaves a shopping cart in a parking spot, or pushed up against someone elses car instead of walking the 10 feet to the cart corral. They just managed to walked probably 30 minutes thru Walmart packing it with shit and they can't walk the extra 10 ft!!!!

So inquiring minds want to know...did you pick up the ice???

Do not pick up the ice . . . . per the union rules. You have't gotten the proper training to pick up spilled ice!!!

That bugs the crap out of me, along with able bodied people parking in a handicap spot.

OMG, over a YEAR ago these girls were pushing a big flat cart down the parking lot aisle at Wal-Mart (it was UIUC move-in weekend) and I think the car drove up to them, they loaded whatever, like, the TV into the car, got into the car and left the cart in the middle of the parking lot aisle. I STILL have a freaking blood pressure event everytime I think of that. So freaking inconsiderate.

Sooo at work though... a few days ago, my boss wanted to know how I was working with the administrative assistants. Truthfully, I pass almost nothing on to them. The 2 that are capable are overloaded covering for the 2 that are inept. So I feel sorry for the good ones and don't trust the bad ones to do my stuff right. So I do it myself. I got a talking to about that. ::)
