Saltine crackers and peanut butter with a side order of orange juice -- that's what always did it for me (waffles and eggs with an oj too, as long as someone else was making them).

Ahhh flights!! My greatest weakness/downfall, every alcoholics wet dream, for those whom absolutely CANNOT chose but ONE! As long as Patrn was one of your chosen options, I won't have to hurt you. Besides, NOTHING beats a martini flight from Wildfire in Oakbrook!
Doood.. there's wine flights, champagne flights, and as mentioned above, the coveted Wildfire Martini flight, which you can only *tear* choose four of they almost one hundred martinis, (and may I suggest key lime, appletini, chocolate, and raspberry!!).
Any beer flights? Seriously, I have not been out for a while and when I do, it's a beer or two. That's it. Really budget conscience now.
Brew pub! We don't have one in C-U (anymore...) so anytime I travel with coworkers, pretty much ALWAYS the first dinner out is at a brew pub. We get 1 alcoholic drink paid for by the company. You'd be surprised at how much alcohol punch a flight of 6 beer samples for $5 can have.
