I want to make my own fleece cooler but don't want to buy a pattern. Anyone have any I can use, or maybe any tips on figuring out how much fabric in cubic yards I need...??

    TIA :)

    Yea so forget this!

I just got back from the fabric store, and it'll cost me the same in materials as an already made one will!

    Cheapest cooler ever.

    Walmart/Kmart/Target etc...
Acrylic bed blanket $12.99(queen size seems to be the best fit for "most' horses)

    Menards/Home Depot/Lowes/Ace etc...
    2 electrical clamps $1.99 each

    WAH-LAH!

    Getto fabulous too! ;D

I also had someone on here tell me that you can buy 2 of the fleece throws from walmart/Target, and sew them together. Use the clamps, and again.....wah-lah. No reason that my horse shouldn't dress better than me...right? :nana:

It's always a little cheaper to make them, and you get it custom. :)

I always buy fleece when it's 50% off at Johann... 3 yards does the trick I believe.
