Take a look at the horses for auction, these horses have issues as a whole! Kudos for being honest, but damn! http://www.maascompanies.com/response.asp?project_id=142
Does not sound like they want to sell these horses. What do you suppose happened to that place? Maybe too many law suits from people who rode the horses. :
My family bought my first horse when I was 13 and he was a livery horse. I had him for 14 years. He was an amazing horse.
I loved reading some of those. Like "Monster" the draft cross. Lays down when he thinks he has done enough work! LOL!
I never heard of "Sperm Star Face" for a marking. It does look like a sperm! That was on #304. And it's tendencies were that it's gaited,........ along with a wound. #308 gets sore withers if not padded properly. : #322 if not tied in stall will poop in manger A lot of cool stuff. Would love to see what bids they get.
Never fear, the FOB's are on it. There raising money to buy as many as they can and have them euthanized :
Um yeah, I'm serious. One has already been escorted off the property for taking pictures and having a melt down because kill buyers might be present.
Um......Ya.............Looks like a little sperm to me............ http://www.maascompanies.com/itemresponse.asp?id=4836&pid=142&p=304.jpg How about: And: http://www.maascompanies.com/itemresponse.asp?id=4849&pid=142&p=317.jpg Really?!?!?! I am starting to think that they don't want them sold either. Maybe the "Investers" or the "big wiggs" want out from under it, and the real workers dont! :'(
I like this mare. http://www.maascompanies.com/itemresponse.asp?id=4848&pid=142&p=316.jpg "Will kick out if hit in the hind quarters; Will sometimes spook" - sounds like horse behavior to me. I feel horrible for the dogs.
I had to laugh reading some of those, although I guess its really not funny! Well, atleast they are being honest.
What the heck is the deal with the one whos tail will freeze if he is left outside and lays down?? ???
In Michigan and a TON of horses along with wagons, tractors, snowmobiles, dogs, chickens, goats, saddles, bridles, golf carts, automobiles, etc. etc. etc.
I did not think the horse descriptions suggested that many of them were really that bad---they just do horse type things, like sometimes spook. I was impressed that they KNEW them all so well to know what their quirks are. Now obviously some of them have some major issues, but in a herd that big, that is bound to happen
