I just got done eating the most tasteless, driest nectarine ever. I am so tired of pale, hard tomatoes. We used up all the garden veggies we froze, and used the stawberry jam my sister made for us. I am craving some really ripe, juicey fruit. My Dad sent us a case of Honeybell oranges from FL that my family devoured in 3 days.

    How long till spring???

There are few things on the planet as wonderful as a homegrown tomato. And you're right. . . the ones you can buy right now are TERRIBLE. I'm thrilled about the warm up we're getting for the next couple of days. But it's just gonna make me that much more hungry for Spring and warmer weather.
