Starting a new post so this does not get lost in the mix......I just got off the phone with Hoss....

Tomorrow is NOT a court date, it's an interview. Our presence would be great. It will be held at 11:00 am at:

    Chicago police, 19 distric headquaters
    2452 W Belmont, chicago.

    Here is the plan....

Hoss is going to provide us with the court order for the tent and a few tidbits of other useful information.

Show at above address at 10:00am. Dress descent, barn clothes would be fun but I think appearance might be more important right now.

I'm typing and talking on the phone so any useful links to media added on this thread will be great. I am going to contact all the stations that have ran this story not to mention all the radio stations I can think of. Multiple calls and emails to these stations will probably get us farther.

Hoss has accepted the fact that she has lost her licence. She found out she was being denied for what consists of the final time on Thursday and the horses seized on Friday. Didn't even give the girl a change to get them into homes.

This goes DEEP for ALL horse owners. Chicago politics, yeah, but it could happen to any one of us if some nut jobs got a hard on for any of us. The media has also led people to believe that the horses that came out of Hoss's barn were neglected, weak, skin and bones. Any idea what the effect on non horse owners this will have? Amazing.

Basically what I'm saying is if you have no love for Hoss or the carriage industry but are a horse owner this should be important to you too.

Let's try to keep this thread for links...media, stories, any coverage and carpooling for tomorrow and such and keep the outrage shit chat on the other thread if we can.

Hoss is very grateful for all the support she has been shown and would like everyone to know how much she appreciates it.

Please post links to everyone you have or think should be contacted. 5 emails are better than one. Someone might say something another left out that hopefully will light a fire under the medias ass to get them out there.

Can anyone familiar with this location: 19 district headquarters let us out of townees know what to expect as far as parking goes? Is this right in downtown where we need 30 minutes walking time to get to the desired location after parking?

BUC, this is more north side than downtown. There is a parking lot at the police headquarters, not sure how full it will be (hopefully full of pick up trucks!). Otherwise there is parking on the street. I am waithing to hear back from a friend who lived right near there as to where more parking may be. Will post as soon as I find out. BTW WGN channel 9 broadcasting studio is right down the street!
    Anybody need a ride?

just got back on line...The is a rather large parkling lot at the building. If for some reason it is filled(wishfull thinking) just go east *turn around go other way* under the viaduct is parking or you can cheat and park at jewel/dominiks. Its in a neat neighborhood, lots of food, cafes, ect just east on belmont.

Welcome to chicago, just wish it were for a nice occasion.

I will try to get there early, help with parking, ect. Just look the tall with with red coat/glasses

    Thank you all again.

Just added my comment to the Tribune report (0r lack of) The point being we believed staged "horse-napping to be evil. And this is not a Black Beauty story unfolding. The siezure was justified by the DOG CATCHER and small animal vet. Further confirmed a few us from across the state would be making a road trip to the city. Perhaps we can better explain the only abuse here was the abrupt removal, risky travel, change of feed for these horses.
