Starting a new post so this does not get lost in the mix......I just got off the phone with Hoss.... Tomorrow is NOT a court date, it's an interview. Our presence would be great. It will be held at 11:00 am at: Chicago police, 19 distric headquaters 2452 W Belmont, chicago. Here is the plan.... Hoss is going to provide us with the court order for the tent and a few tidbits of other useful information. Show at above address at 10:00am. Dress descent, barn clothes would be fun but I think appearance might be more important right now. I'm typing and talking on the phone so any useful links to media added on this thread will be great. I am going to contact all the stations that have ran this story not to mention all the radio stations I can think of. Multiple calls and emails to these stations will probably get us farther. Hoss has accepted the fact that she has lost her licence. She found out she was being denied for what consists of the final time on Thursday and the horses seized on Friday. Didn't even give the girl a change to get them into homes. This goes DEEP for ALL horse owners. Chicago politics, yeah, but it could happen to any one of us if some nut jobs got a hard on for any of us. The media has also led people to believe that the horses that came out of Hoss's barn were neglected, weak, skin and bones. Any idea what the effect on non horse owners this will have? Amazing. Basically what I'm saying is if you have no love for Hoss or the carriage industry but are a horse owner this should be important to you too. Let's try to keep this thread for links...media, stories, any coverage and carpooling for tomorrow and such and keep the outrage shit chat on the other thread if we can. Hoss is very grateful for all the support she has been shown and would like everyone to know how much she appreciates it.
