I'm working but might check in through the day on CNN.com. My uncles live in Wilmington, DE, and Obama's train swung through to pick up Biden with a little event there. They took this photo...that's pretty exciting.
I will be home grooming... first day back to work since before Christmas.. stewpid me.. I didnt realize it would be inauguration day so I better tape it!
OK, and here I get REALLY immature. Anyone see the shirtless Obama vacationing pic? > I am happy to have a younger family in the White House. I am happy to have an attractive family in the White House.
We'll be taping it---- need to go for a load of hay lori--Glad your post came up before I hit post---- yep saw the vacation pics, He is definitely in good shape. AND yes its great to see a young family in that boring old house! Just imagine two little girls running around where things have been sooooo quiet for so many years.
He's not overweight at all but I wouldn't say good shape. He looks like a guy that pushes a pencil all day and has absolutely no muscle to him at all.
Ditto. Tomorrow I will be cutting out some model airplanes for a friend, go riding, then I might hit the local thrift store. I probably will finish up some of my homework early this week so I won't have to worry handing it in on Sunday....I can't wait to be done with college.
He is still light years ahead of most Americans because he's not carrying extra weight and from what we've seen is physically active.
I will be doing what I always do tomorrow (whatever that is) but without TV or radio I'm keeping my ratings point to myself.
I'm going to watch PART of the parade: Adrienne's trainer, Rachel Hill, from Ottertail Ranch, is taking part in the parade. Entry #29 I think, first horse unit in the parade -- she's riding a Paso Fino with some group from Ohio I believe, all dressed up in Civil War era Union wife gard. It's really kind of neat that we know someone personally taking part in an inaugral parade, so of course going to try and catch her on the telly. And of course a big shout out to her -- way to go Rachel! I shall try to get the timing down so I catch them, then I'm shutting it off and drinking a few bottles of Pepto, followed by perhaps a six pack of beer and some smokes while weeping quietly. I could go on and on, but let it suffice to say I'm not at all thrilled with the prospects of the new administration coming in and leave it at that. Thus, I shall turn to the time honored props for the desperate -- maybe I'll find God or something tomorrow, a little praying certainly couldn't hurt.
I won't purposefully watch any of it. I'm just as sick of it as I am of the stupid Hudson River plan landing. Obama was not my candidate of choice but that is what we have and I truly hope he can help this country without making it a nanny state or socialistic. I hope and pray that some dumbass moron does not assassinate Obama. I really could see some jerk doing that. Oh Lord what a mess that would be.
The security is tighter than a drum for this one -- can't really see an assassination happening. But let's not talk that one into being! President Biden? ....President....Pelosi? EEEAAAAGGGGHHHHH! :th_helpnn: :th_bolt:
...or terrorist.... :-[ Sorry- my father is soooo paranoid, and I spent a little bit of time with him today. Sometimes the paranoia is contagious.
