This is the vegetable pizza with the crescent roll crust, and the raw diced veggies.... What is the recipe of the cream cheese spread that goes on the crust....cream cheese, ranch dressing mix...is there some sour cream or mayo in the mix as well? I don't make it often enough and can never remember the spread mix. Thanks all!
Good - because I'd have to go dig out all my books and phamplets to find that one - I know I have it..............just do think it woudl have been easy to find................ Sounds good, when shall we all arive? ^.^.^
Here's one I really like. Ricotta cheese as the base with broccoli, tomatoes and mushrooms. I'm a meat meat meat eater, but I love this. It's good on a crescent or regular pizza crust.
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition) 2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent rolls 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 1 cup mayonnaise 1 (1 ounce) package dry Ranch-style dressing mix 1 cup fresh broccoli, chopped 1 cup chopped tomatoes 1 cup chopped green bell pepper 1 cup chopped cauliflower 1 cup shredded carrots 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Roll out the crescent roll dough onto a 9x13 inch baking sheet, and pinch together edges to form the pizza crust. Bake crust for 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Once finished cooking, remove crust from oven and let cool 15 minutes without removing it from the baking sheet. In a small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and dry Ranch dressing. Spread the mixture over the cooled crust. Arrange broccoli, tomato, green bell pepper, cauliflower, shredded carrots, and Cheddar cheese over the cream cheese layer. Chill for one hour, slice and serve.
Um...yeah- that would be a GOOD idea! I used about 1.5 pkgs dry ranch mix No tomatoes- makes it too wet broccoli cauliflower red, orange and green bell peppers- diced and well-drained Mushrooms carrots celery cucumber shredded colby-jack cheese It is thick, and tasty!
I"m very picky about veggies so I use the same recipe but limit the veggies I use Broccoli, green onions, carrots, mushrooms, black olives and a nice thick layer of colby jack shredded cheese Put anything you want on it---
I use basically the same recipe posted but I do 1 package of Italian Dressing Mix and 1/2 a package of the Ranch Mix. Gives it a little more bite.
