Last wednesday Hubby called me saying he wanted to get me a recliner chair that he found at the Salvation Army. Didn't say what it was just that he thought I would fit in it as it is a smaller chair. I get home wednesday night and it is a homemedics gravity recliner with massage and heat. OMG this chair is freakin awsome. Thursday I was sitting on the floor all day at work packing box's up of old files. when I got home my back hurt really bad. I got in my chair and by bedtime I felt great and slept really good. I had my first chiro appt in two weeks this afternoon. My sports medicine guy had to barely move me I pretty much stayed in place I mentioned to my specialist about this chair. He said great to keep using it and use it as much as I want to that it is good for me. then he said those chairs are pretty expensive. I said not this one hubby paid only 60.00 for it and it's in awsome condiiton. Needless to say when I got home and told hubby what was said he grinned from ear to ear. What a guy.
WOW what a lucky find~ I've been begging for a whirlpool bathtub for my back, nothing fancy. Congrats on your new chair
I love to shop at Salvation Army for clothes if I have the time. You can find some designer things that are in good condition if you sort through the junk.
You can pick up a decent 6 jet tub at Home Depot / Menards / Lowes for aroud $300 - $400. Theya re not that expensive, add value to your home and are easy to install.
my wife wanted a hot tub----I suggested a metal horse tank with a boat motor. she did not think it was funny.
Yep just 60.00 and in great condition. I looked it up on line and depending on what site you go to I found it for as high as 400.00 and as low as 250.00 He just kinda has the good fortune of finding great deals. I find getting in the chair right before bedtime really relaxes me and I can sleep better.
